Biography

Blythe joined Brown University in February 2018.  Prior to Brown, Blythe was Assistant Counsel at Johnson & Wales University and a corporate and private equity Associate at Locke Lord (f/k/a Edwards Angell Palmer & Dodge LLP).

Blythe’s practice is focused on the investment activities of the University as the primary legal counsel for the Investment Office. 

Blythe graduated with an A.B. in International Relations from Brown University (Class of 2001) and earned her J.D. from Santa Clara University School of Law, where she was a Technical Editor for the Santa Clara Law Review.  While at Brown, Blythe competed as a four-year varsity member of the Women’s Swimming & Diving Team.
